A very attractive character figurine of a famous Persian philosopher, mathematician and poet of the 11th century by Royal Doulton, designed by M. Nicoll. Issued 1965-1983. MADE IN ENGLAND. "Omar Khayyam" is seated and measures 6 1/4 inches high. His colors are various shades of brown.

Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it." (Omar Khayyam)

This figurine is offered in EXCELLENT `Condition` with vibrant colors and glaze with no chips, cracks or repair.
