Semi-retired couple looking for a house or 4-season cottage on the Ottawa River in the Dunrobin/Constance Bay/West Carleton area. We want to downsize from a large house in rural Dunrobin to a smaller waterfront house. Our wish-list includes: - 1,300 to 1,800 sq. ft. of living space - lot with minimum 50-foot frontage, but larger is preferred - good solid condition (we are willing to do some updating if the price is right) - view of the Gatineau Hills - potable water and working septic system - 1-2 car garage (or enough space on lot to build one) Very flexible in terms of timing -- in no rush.
